About Benington Nursery

We are situated on the grounds of Benington Primary School in Stevenage. We welcome children from Stevenage, Walkern, Great Ashby, Dane End, Aston, Ardeley and surrounding areas. We offer high-quality care and education for children aged 2 to 5 in a safe, secure and  stimulating environment. The Nursery is open term-Ime only (we follow the same schedule as Stevenage schools) and we run private and funded flexible sessions, lunch clubs and afternoon play sessions from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

We welcome children from 2 years old until they go to primary school, from any and every background, nationality, culture and religion. Our children go onto Benington Primary, Walkern Primary, Heathmount and other primary schools in Stevenage. We pride ourselves in celebrating all cultures, religions, traditions and languages. We support children with special needs and have a resident Special Needs Coordinator on staff as well as close ties with Children’s Services, our area SENCO and all the local health visitors.
